Misha McPherson, Training Program Manager at Yammer, will demystify how to use social learning tools to build practical applications. She’ll share her experience of managing the learning function and building effective training programs within a rapidly changing environment at Yammer. You will walk away from this session with:
A checklist of best practices of leveraging social learning for your organization
New ideas on how on do more with less time and resources
Ideas about how to get executive support for social learning in the classroom
This program is part of our CPLP series, with a focus on Managing the Learning Function.
In this session, you’ll:
Hear the story of a start up that is going through rapid growth, with a product that changes weekly, and an L&D team made up of just two people.
Feel the challenges of using social learning as a part of Yammer’s formal training program and learn how Yammer overcame them.
Discuss best practices for using social learning platforms such as Yammer
Have an opportunity to experience first hand using social learning tools such as Yammer
Presenter:
After 10 years of selling and managing customers, Misha McPherson came to the Learning and Development field 6 years ago to help inspire people to rise to their full potential. While her focus has been on developing training for customer facing roles, Misha has worked with employees from all departments. Misha has had the honor to develop, facilitate, and deploy training programs at Yahoo!, Monster Worldwide, and Yammer. Misha has a knack for making training programs both fun and effective using classroom, e-learning and social learning.
