BECOME A VOLUNTEER: Current volunteer opportunities
Communications Manager:
This position is responsible for publicity to nonprofits and the ASTD community. We need someone with writing and web site development skills. This is a one-year commitment and serves on our Core Team.

Needs Analysis Interviewers
Note that you will be matched with a more experienced COP volunteer for your first intake interview.
- Community home for seniors (Berkeley): Wednesday, 8/31, 3-4:30pm (1 volunteer needed)
- Organization serving at-risk youth (San Francisco): Needs Analysis Interview to be scheduled (1 volunteer needed)
- Shelter/services for the homeless (Richmond): Needs Analysis Interview to be scheduled
- (1 volunteer needed)
- Organization providing pet care for people with disabling illnesses (San Francisco): Needs Analysis Interview to be scheduled (1 volunteer needed)
- Service center for women & girls (San Francisco): Needs Analysis Interview to be scheduled (1 volunteer needed)
- Food, housing service organization (Berkeley): Needs Analysis Interview to be scheduled (1 volunteer needed)
Design, Develop, & Deliver Workshops / Content Experts
Volunteers are needed for a variety of training projects we anticipate scheduling during the next few months (September to November 2005), including:
- Educational organization (San Francisco) - topic and date to be determined (2-3 volunteers needed)
- Homeless shelter (San Francisco) - topic and date to be determined (2-3 volunteers needed)
- Outdoors/conservation-related organization (San Francisco) - topic and date to be determined (2-3 volunteers needed)
- Garden society (San Francisco) - topic and date to be determined (2-3 volunteers needed)
Many of the intake interviews listed above will result in training projects in the near future also!
