Use your skills to help Bay Area nonprofits be more effective. The Community Outreach Program (COP) is part of the ASTD/Golden Gate Chapter's long-term commitment to help nonprofits by offering the volunteer services of its members.
What's in it for the nonprofit?
- The Community Outreach Program benefits nonprofits by providing training solutions to improve performance and enhance staff morale.
- We design, develop and deliver on-site training that has been tailored to the nonprofits' needs.
What's in it for you?
- Do you work alone and want some partners? -- COP assembles a team to work on the nonprofit projects.
- Are you a senior trainer who would like to leave a legacy? -- COP taps into your expertise in creating unique learning solutions and mentoring others as they develop their skills.
- Are you new to the field and want to have hands-on experience in all the steps of the training process? -- COP has its own Training Design & Development workshop to provide you with the knowledge & skills needed. Even better, inexperienced trainers are matched with more senior training professionals and work together on a nonprofit assignment.
