INFORMAL LEARNING IN ACTION: COACHING CAFÉS AT CHARLES SCHWAB

Based on the concept of “The World Café,” the Charles Schwab organization has created an informal learning environment to apply knowledge and build skills in non-traditional ways. Coaching Cafés are small learning groups of diverse people managers who meet on a regular basis. The goal of this program is to integrate learning and enhance Charles Schwab’s Employee Value Proposition while developing strong leaders.

The biggest hurdle? It wasn'’t the budget—. It cost $100 to implement. Join us to learn about their journey from concept to post-implementation.

Cathy Campbell, Director of Talent Programs and Inclusion at Charles Schwab Co., will share how this informal learning method builds relationships across enterprises, offers a safe environment to share best practices and management challenges, and sustains learning over time.

Following Cathy’s presentation, we will put informal learning in action: you will have an opportunity to collaborate with fellow attendees to design a blueprint for YOUR learning café solution!

This is sure to pack the house, so don’t delay, register now!
